as Official Partner of Art Basel Hong Kong
with Premium 5G Solutions and exclusive network priority
Hong Kong, 24 March 2026 - Hutchison Telecommunications (Hong Kong) Limited (HTHK) today announced its fifth consecutive year as an Official Partner of Art Basel Hong Kong. As a cornerstone of the "Hong Kong MEGA 8" calendar, the world's premier art fair will once again benefit from HTHK's 3Business division, delivering sophisticated 5G connectivity to bridge world-class artistry and cutting-edge technology.
Through a tailored suite of 5G services, 3Business will provide exhibitors with dedicated high-speed mobile broadband and offer the organiser intelligent technical solutions, ensuring a seamless digital experience for a global audience.
Raymond Ho, Executive Director and CEO of Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Limited, said: "Hong Kong is firmly establishing itself as a leading global stage for world-class mega events. As the leading operator of integrated 5G radio systems at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, we are proud to deliver the high-speed, reliable 5G connectivity that Art Basel Hong Kong demands. Beyond enabling seamless communications, our 3Business solutions showcase the true power of 5G — from presence analytics solution that delivers precise visitor flow insights to the organiser, to demonstrating the transformative potential of 5G across major exhibitions for a truly global audience."
Precision analytics enhancing the visitor journey
This year, 3Business introduces an advanced 5G presence analytics solution. Deployed by the 3Business, the system delivers high-fidelity, real-time data on visitor flow across the exhibition halls. These insights enable the organiser to dynamically adjust routing, optimise security deployment and refine space management in real time. This data-driven approach ensures smooth experience for attendees while providing valuable intelligence for future event planning.
Comprehensive 5G mobile broadband service with Wi-Fi 7 support across the two-floor venue
The 5G mobile broadband service with Wi-Fi 7 support provided by 3Business will cover two floors of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), spanning all exhibition halls, meeting rooms and concourses. This robust infrastructure is essential for the 240 leading galleries participating from 41 countries and territories.
This year's edition also marks the Asia debut of Zero 10, a dedicated platform for digital art practices. HTHK's ultra-low latency 5G network will play a key role in connecting exhibitors with global audiences, reinforcing Hong Kong's position as a vital hub for international art.
Selected 3Business clients and 3SUPREME customers have been invited to experience this celebrated global art fair and discover exceptional works from the world's top galleries. 3SUPREME customers enjoy Network Priority privileges, ensuring smooth and reliable connectivity even in high-traffic exhibition areas, enabling them to stay fully immersed in the artistic ambience throughout their visit.
Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 will take place from 27 to 29 March 2026 at the HKCEC, with exclusive preview days on 25 and 26 March.
