Macau - 5 December 2018 - 3Macau staged the "Facial-recognition Technology - Enhancing Campus Management and Security" seminar on 4 December, enabling industry experts to introduce the latest facial-recognition solutions to aid campus management and promote the benefits of smart teaching. The event was organised as part of 3Macau's ongoing commitment to developing corporate applications from new technologies for all industries.

It also served as an opportunity to discuss how to apply new technologies such as facial-recognition to a mobile network in order to provide solutions for students and schools - all with the aim of developing the smart campus concept.

The event was staged at The Macau Science Centre, where Damien Koon, Operation Director of FacePlus AI Limited, provided a live demo of the company's Face++ product. He was followed by Qi Hong, General Manager of Shenzhen HJX Technology Limited, who led an in-depth discussion on routine campus management issues and presented solutions based on facial-recognition technology. These were designed to facilitate management of dormitory, laboratory and student attendance, while serving big data analysis needs - with a view to boosting efficiency.
