Hong Kong, 2 December, 2015 - Hutchison Global Communications Limited (HGC), the fixed-line division of Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Limited (HTHKH, stock code: 215), today announced extension of its WiseNET CloudConnect leased-line service from Microsoft Azure to the Microsoft Office 365 (Office 365) cloud platform. Corporate customers can now connect to both the Microsoft Azure and Office 365 cloud platforms via a secure, ultra-fast and reliable leased-line network.
Connect to Office 365 via secure and reliable leased-line data transmission
WiseNET CloudConnect is a cloud-ready leased-line service jointly developed by HGC and Macroview Telecom Limited. Pre-connection of HGC's Metro Ethernet-based WiseNET service to the Office 365 cloud platform means customers can now use the Microsoft Office suite of solutions via a private link within just a few weeks, and without the substantial cost of purchasing equipment or renting data centre space.
WiseNET CloudConnect leased-line service is a private link that provides fast, stable, secure and reliable data transmission to stringent service-level agreement terms such as a service availability of 99.98% and latency of less than one millisecond. Customers can also get service up to 1Gbps, amounting to an ultra-fast and smooth user experience akin to accessing Office 365 as if it were installed on an enterprise's premises or wide area network.
