The event represented a gesture of gratitude for the support demonstrated by various press and media organisations over the last year. In a separate move, 3Macau launched the "Better at 3" campaign to mark its 15th anniversary and underscore a commitment to continuous improvement in network quality, innovative services and customer service. Completing a hat-trick of announcements, 3Macau then unveiled the "HK Wi-Fi" Internet service, enabling customers to get online easily when visiting Hong Kong.

"HK Wi-Fi" at 16,000+ hotspots creates seamless Macau-HK communications
Responding to the increase in numbers of local residents visiting Hong Kong, 3Macau launched the "Macau-HK Data & Voice" plan last year - then extended the programme today by unveiling the "HK Wi-Fi" Internet service. This enables customers to stay in touch with friends and family when they visit Hong Kong. More than 16,000 Wi-Fi hotspots in Hong Kong cover large-scale shopping malls, coffee chains, fast food outlets and restaurants - and more than 5,000 are served by a 1G fiber backhaul network to take the online experience to even higher levels of speed and stability.
