Hong Kong Business Awards 2011
Hong Kong, 14 December 2011 - Hutchison Global Communications Limited (HGC or the Company), the fixed-line operation of Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Limited (HTHKH; Stock Code: 215) was awarded the "International Award" in the Hong Kong Business Awards 2011.
According to the organisers, "HGC has successfully formulated a strategy to expand its international business to new overseas markets and extended its network reach to the Greater Mekong Subregion, as well as the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions, apart from Asia where HGC is based. With 18 offices all over the world, the Company provides customers with localised and diversified international telecom solutions. The Hong Kong Business Awards were organised by DHL and The South China Morning Post. More than 70 companies took part in the competition this year, competing for eight awards.
